Biscotti al mandarino

Poi nello zucchero a velo (7). Adagiateli in una teglia coperta da carta forno e lasciate riposare in frigo per 1 ora. Trascorso il tempo di cottura, mettete in forno preriscaldato e cuocete a 180° per 15 minuti (8). Dopo sfornate e lasciate raffreddare prima di servite. Buona merenda.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg;
  • 30g sugar;
  • 45g vegetable oil;
  • zest of 1 lemon;
  • zest of 1 mandarin;
  • juice of 1 mandarin;
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder;
  • 150g all-purpose flour (farina 00);
  • powdered sugar to taste;
  • granulated sugar to taste.

Procedure:

  1. Begin the preparation of the cookies by placing sugar in a bowl and breaking the egg. Whisk everything together with a hand whisk. Now add the vegetable oil, lemon zest, and mandarin zest, and mix everything (1). Continue by adding mandarin juice to your mixture (2) and mix again. Finally, as the last ingredients, add baking powder and flour (3.) and continue to mix everything with the whisk.
  2. Knead everything, and if the dough is too soft, add more flour. Shape it into a ball (4), wrap it in plastic wrap, and place it in the freezer for 15 minutes. After the resting time, break off pieces of dough (5) and shape them into balls (5). Roll each ball first in granulated sugar (6.).
  3. Then in powdered sugar (7). Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rest in the fridge for 1 hour. After the resting time, preheat the oven and bake at 180°C for 15 minutes (8). After baking, remove from the oven and let them cool before serving. Enjoy your snack.
